Monterey, home to creatures brought up from the mysterious deep, sea lions lazing sluggardly upon their rock thrones, the salt-worn coastal cypress unmoving in the face of sea spray.
Spent a beautiful long weekend here wandering through aquariums and along coast lines with ma mère.
